So, I would highly recommend laughing every day. You can do anything which makes you laugh- you could watch comedy shows, read jokes, read a funny story, or laugh with your friends. You can also laugh at your own mistakes and weaknesses, which would further help you take everything lightly and not get stressed.

3. Express gratitude

If you have food to eat, water to drink, clothes to wear, and a roof over your head, you are far luckier than millions of unfortunate people out there who hardly get anything to eat, don’t have a house to live and wear tattered clothes.

But still, we feel that we are not lucky. It happens because we take what we have for granted and focus only on those we don’t have. The trick here is to remind yourself of everything you have and express gratitude to the universe for it. Say thank you for every small thing you have- food, water, clothes, parents, good health, freedom, the device you are holding now, internet connection, etc. Expressing gratitude will make your life more enjoyable.

3. Accept everything

Often, we build strong expectations, but we feel the real pain when things go against our expectations. For example, you expected good grades in your exam, but somehow you scored less marks and got terrible grades. This would stress you and make you feel low. You would get stuck here and won’t be able to move ahead in life. Expectations are the cause of most of our pain and misery. It is expectations that make our life gloomy and sorrowful.

The solution here is to accept everything as it happens and expect nothing. This is one of the most powerful ways of living an exciting life. Accept your bad grades, find your mistakes and accept them, learn from them, and next time make sure you don’t commit the same mistakes again.

5. Overcome your fears

Do you have fears? Fear to get criticized, fear to lose money or fear of failure? We all have fears, and it is pretty common. But the problem arises when we become so afraid of our fears that we get paralyzed by them, don’t take any action, and run from facing them.
