How to Keep Yourself Motivated During Bad Times?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Life is a see-saw. It goes up, and it goes down. All you have to do is always remember that it will go up again every time it goes down. Bad times are the part where the see-saw goes down. While it is down, you have to push the see-saw to bring it up again, keeping yourself motivated while working.

Here are a few ways to keep yourself motivated when your see-saw is down.

Stay Positive

Instead of waking up every day with a disappointment that something did not happen yesterday, it is better that you tell yourselves that something is gonna happen today. “I am going to work for it and achieve it one day or the day” this is what you should be telling yourselves rather than telling “Nothing is gonna happen in my shitty life.”

Be proud of your strengths rather than worry about your weaknesses.

Every person in this world will have his or her strengths and weaknesses. The weakness you have maybe a hurdle to reach your goal, but think about the advantages you have that will make you reach the goal rather than always worrying that you do not have something that others have.

Take care of your health.

Just because something is not going right in your life, it does not mean that you ruin your life. Instead of thinking about the things that did not happen right and ruining your life, it is better that you think if you are fit and fine what more, you can achieve.

Spend some Alone time

No one can be your best friend except yourself. No matter how busy your schedule is, try to spare some time for yourself as well. Nourish yourself. Read good books and listen to soft music. This will help in relaxing the mind and body.

Think about the victories you have accomplished so far.

While trying to achieve a particular goal, there might be small victories you have accomplished without your acknowledgement. Think about them. Think about how far you have come and how many wonderful achievements you have made.

What matters is how you react in these situations. Remember, it is never ever late. These bad times are temporary, but your ability is permanent.
