1. Rinpochee Kushok Bakula Airport, Ladakh
Ladakh’s sole unique hill desert in India is one of the world’s highest airports at a height of 3,256 meters from the average sea level. All flights only take off in the morning to escape mountain winds in the afternoon. Passengers cannot take with them any hand luggage (with the exception of the camera and laptop bags).

2. International Airport of Veer Savarkar, Port Blair
Port Blair Airport is also known as a customs airport situated 2 km south of Port Blair. A new terminal is presently under development, slated for service by 2018. This island airport is very lush, every aesthete’s dream.
3. Airport of Gaggal, Kangra
Gaggal Airfield is another hill airport in the middle Himalayas or Himachal range. It is located about 14 kilometers south west of Dharamshala. It covers 1,269 acres of land and is 2492 feet high. Most of the flights from and to Delhi and Chandigarh. This area is full of stillness and chilly breezes whispering.
4. International Airport of Indira Gandhi, Delhi

5. Bhuj Flughafen, Kutch
The ancient structure of Bhuj Airport stands amid the region of white sand, Ranotsav and untouched tranquility. It covers 830 hectares of territory, primarily flights to and from Mumbai and Delhi. It is only 48 km from the Indo-Pak border and has been subject to the most severe atrocities in the 1971 war.
6. Aerodrome of Agatti, Lakshadweep:
The Agatti Aerodrome is located on a relatively small strip of land amid endless blue seas in Lakshadweep. The finest airport in scenic splendor by far is never lost in the loneliness of the archipelago. It features an asphalt path that occupies an area of 45.9 acres. It only runs a flight to Kochi.
7. Shimla Airport, Shimla:
There are airports with little esthetic feeling around in the major towns and then Shimla Airport. Visit this beautiful airport, 22 kilometers from Shimla to Jabarhatti. It was built by chopping off the hilltop and raising the ground in order to allow it to pave its path. It sits on its hill at a height of 1546 m and has amazing views across lush green valleys.
