Gaggal Airfield is another hill airport in the middle Himalayas or Himachal range. It is located about 14 kilometers south west of Dharamshala. It covers 1,269 acres of land and is 2492 feet high. It is only 48 km from the Indo-Pak border and has been subject to the most severe atrocities in the 1971 war.

The Agatti Aerodrome is located on a relatively small strip of land amid endless blue seas in Lakshadweep. The finest airport in scenic splendor by far is never lost in the loneliness of the archipelago. It features an asphalt path that occupies an area of 45.9 acres. It only runs a flight to Kochi.
7. Shimla Airport, Shimla:
There are airports with little esthetic feeling around in the major towns and then Shimla Airport. Visit this beautiful airport, 22 kilometers from Shimla to Jabarhatti. It was built by chopping off the hilltop and raising the ground in order to allow it to pave its path. It sits on its hill at a height of 1546 m and has amazing views across lush green valleys.
