When Chinese and US relations were better, the US President visited China.
As a gift, he presented the Premier with an American Eagle.
As a return gift, China gifted him with a Panda.
Back in USA, millions were spent to create artificial atmosphere for the Panda to feel at home as in China.
Done with that, US President called the Chinese counterpart, and told him that the Panda was doing fine. “And how is the Eagle??” he asked.
