Naina Devi Temple

Shri Naina Devi Ji temple, located in the Bilaspur District, is one of Himachal Pradesh’s most prominent places of worship. It is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths where Sati’s limbs dropped to Earth.

During the months of Chaitra, Shravan, and Ashwin Navrati, a special fair is held, attracting millions of tourists from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and other parts of the country.

The town is surrounded by the huge Shivalik range of Himalayas, and the temple is guarded by the tallest peak, Mt. Nanda Devi, which is considered to be the sister of goddess Naina Devi.

Throughout the year, a large number of pilgrims and devotees visit this holy site.

How to Reach Naina Devi Temple

The temple is located in the Mallital region, at the northern end of Naini Lake. It is around 350 kilometres from Delhi, 100 kilometres from Chandigarh, and 85 kilometres from Bilaspur Sadar.

There is no entry fee for visiting the temple. You can go on any day of the week between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
