Leaving ifs and buts aside, it\u2019s true that at several points in\ntime, we took coronavirus very lightly. Only when Italy\u2019s death toll became\nmassive (5000 plus), all the governments across the world have started taking\nstringent measures to curb the spread of coronavirus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we don\u2019t care now, then no doubt; we will witness\nunprecedented annihilations of human lives in front of us. According to the\nWHO, we\ncurrently have more than 290,000 confirmed cases with around 12,900 plus\ndeaths. The novel coronavirus has already affected around 187 countries in the\nworld.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#8) Chinese Wuhan\nOrigin<\/strong>: Novel Coronavirus was first spotted in China\u2019s Wuhan\nregion in late December last year. At that time, some Wuhanese complained of\nsevere mysterious pneumonia-like symptoms. But China not only kept the world in\ndark by belittling COVID-19 to another flu or pneumonia, but also kept secret\nabout the real number of its affected patients!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#7) Chinese\nNumber Games:<\/strong> China\nis still playing a number game. We are still unaware of the total number of\ncoronavirus-infected people and deaths in China. Since most of the Chinese\nmedia are handled by the government, so we may never actually know how many\nChinese were actually affected and how many got cured!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is China Hiding Its Casualty Figure?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A recent social media post said that more than seven\nmillion China\u2019s telephone users vanished in the last three months. Where have\nthey gone? Even if we imagine that out of these seven million telephone users at\nleast one user uses seven telephone numbers, then still one million is missing!\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aliens can\u2019t swallow them all in the last three months! Their sudden disappearance now strongly signaled what we don\u2019t want to hear. Yes, by all possibility, they might have succumbed to Coronavirus. But China wants to keep it a top secret!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A gigantic figure in itself!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another social media post showed how several houses\nat Wuhan now wear a deserted look with not a single tint of light. It\u2019s not\nbecause of a regular power cut but indicates something more frightening! Maybe,\nthese people are gone forever! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

#6) The\nGreat WHO Blunder: <\/strong>If\nthe incumbent WHO director Tedros Adhanom had declared it \u2018Pandemic\u2019 in\nFebruary, then certainly the entire world could have taken preemptive measures to\ncontain the disease back then. But it was only in the third week of March the\nWHO declared it Pandemic. Why? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At least, other countries could have sealed their\ninternational boundaries back then stopping the spread of novel coronavirus\nfrom one region to another.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

#5) Bringing Stranded Citizens Back: <\/strong>The Indian government was proactive in bringing back its own citizens stranded in the infected regions. However, we failed to make sure that all incoming people undergo mandatory 14-day quarantine at dedicated wards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we made a blood test of COVID-19 compulsory for\nall inbound people coming from other countries, then Kanika Kapoor-like episode\nshouldn\u2019t have happened in India. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, we must have braced ourselves for lockdown and shutdowns\nsince then but we didn\u2019t do that. Because the government was too\nlate to announce that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#4) Fear of\nCommunity Transmission<\/strong>:\nNow only when we are witnessing total chaos, the government has only swung into\naction. It\u2019s now or never! Either we should lock ourselves at homes or create\nmayhem on the streets just like what na\u00efve Italian citizens did in their own country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

#3) Sanitizer\nSpray:<\/strong> Government\nshould sanitize the entire locality using trucks and other vehicles as far as\npossible. Though all CORONA warriors are doing commendable jobs in tough times,\nif the government utilizes vehicles to sanitize our congested streets and\ncities, (just like how our anti-dengue fogging machines work at all lanes and\nstreets across India) it would be better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2) Junta Curfew:<\/strong> The entire nation collectively made Junta\nCurfew a big success until 5 PM! Just when the clock struck 5 in the evening,\nsome people started repeating the same mistake that ITALY and IRAN did a few\nweeks back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These people started the mass celebration, shook hands and stayed in very proximity to each other throwing all precautions at bay! It seemed as if we have won a war. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In reality, our long war against coronavirus has just begun!\nSelf-restraint is the mantra and we must practice social distancing at all\ncosts. Any get-together could only endanger our lives more and may pose even\ngreater tension and risk to Corona warriors who are working 24×7 at all parts of\nthe country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1) Personal\nHygiene:<\/strong> Until we\ndevelop an effective vaccine against the novel coronavirus, we are left with\nonly two natural medicines: cleanliness and hygiene!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frequently washing your hands with soap or handwash\nand daily bath could largely keep these germs and viruses away! This is\nthe simplest way to keep yourself and your family protected from the deadly\nvirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Battle Is Still On<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we start feeling complacent, the problem will\narise. We love our country and the people around us. We can\u2019t be another ITALY!\nWe can\u2019t be careless and ignorant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not CORONAVIRUS. It\u2019s a BIOLOGICAL WAR\nbetween COVID-19 viruses and humans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And yes! You guessed it right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to the THIRD WORLD WAR. Either we seriously take precautions or invite death. There is no escape route as yet!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
